Using System 9 apps in Tiger

I am using a G4 iBook, running on Tiger. I would like to use an application that requires Classic. I have Classic on disk, but I can't install it unless I erase Tiger. I want them to run together, when needed occasionally. How can I accomplish this?

Yes you can. 🙂

There's a bit different approach depending on which Restore disks you have. If your Mac came with OS X 10.3.7 or later look here, and if it came with 10.3.4-7 look here and if it came with something earlier (10.2.x-10.3.3) look here.

I did it on my iBook G4 after installing Tiger so I know it works... 😉
