I was reading up about the very interesting "SoundEdit" Audio editing software made in 1986 for the macintosh.

However I can only seem to find "SoundEdit 16", and not the original.

If anybody knows where ton get a copy or has one themselves, I'd really appreciate it if you could help me out. :D

I'd like to play around with it on my 512Ke. As a composer/producer with a love of old Apple Computers, playing with this kind of software is total Nirvana for me!

I don't see it in my archives. Have you tried UseNet?

You may also want to try Hypercard, and related tools, that were popular for composition in the System 6 (and earlier) era. Hypercard was a very popular tool, and has rather good audio capability for the platform.
