I have noticed in Mavericks, that after ~25days or so, I lose the ability to form new TCP/UDP connections. When I drop to a terminal session and ping remote hosts, I get replies but when I try a TCP/UDP connection to something, I get "can't assign requested address".

It seems like a Mavericks TCP/IP stack issue of some kind. A reboot resolves the problem but it's kind of a PITA. I've seen mention of similar issues on the Apple forums but no real fix.

Have any of you guys experienced this issue and/or know of a fix that doesn't require a reboot?

Time for a reboot :-(
