This has been happening for far too long now and it gets to the point of destruction.
My M Audio sound card which is running my monitors 'jumps out' of action.
It is running from USB to the sound card , then the soun card routes out to my monitors.
I have to keep jacking the USB connection in and out hoping it will pick it up.
Now even after restarting computer 3 times its not picking it up and sound is just coming out of the computer speakers..
Is there an issue with this??
I think the drivers are up to date..
