On Sky's Now TV box you need to register local payment details, but now Sky is offering it's Sky Sports day passes via Apple TV that are billed via iTunes.

Is there still an IP check so running this from abroad would require a VPN, or will it work as long as the iTunes account is a UK one (regardless of current IP)?

Now TV only runs on 720p which is startling considering the world has moved on to 1080 ages ago it seems.

I'm curious if Now TV would give a higher resolution when running on the Roku 3 box, or whether Now TV only runs at 720P regardless of what box/app you use...
