Comment: Classic progressive song from Canadian rockers Rush. Awesome combination of bass, guitar and synthesized music.

This is one of my favourite Rush tracks, I'm not always a big fan of Pearts lyrics, but the "rockets red glare" section always gets me.

They bought it back for the 30th Anniversary tour, which was a really awesome change to their usually set list.
We were outside the venue for the concert and they played this at soundcheck and I was REALLY excited. Very cool song, indeed. I was just listening to it in the car the other day and thought I'd post it.
We share a birthday, by the way, Mute. ;)

Yeah? Bet I'm older though...:D
I saw the 30th tour in London and Birmingham NEC, I usually go to the second show just to watch Peart play, but they really looked looked they were enjoying themselves this time around.
I'm not massive on Vapour Trails, it's a bit of a grower i think, but their back catalog is a staple on the iPod and I have Spirit of Radio as a ringtone, so I guess that makes me a Rush geek....

Yeah, I saw them at Virginia Beach (third show of the R30 tour) and Nissan later in the summer...they were really rigid in Virginia Beach with lots of technical errors, but they were really having a good time once they had 20 or so shows under them. Nissan was great. 12th row.
Now if I had any ide how to change ringtones/put ringtones on my Treo.
You shoul definitely get the R30 DVD - so much better than any DVD they have done and less wild antics from the crowd. :p
