So I've got a 2010 13" MBP.

I just installed Windows 7 Using bootcamp. I decided not to download the windows update software in the beginning of this process because I have the original osx install disc that came with this computer.

But now I'm thinking that that can only install driver info from 2010? Is this true? Or is what I installed fine and it will update to the newest firmware?

Do I need to download some new version of Bootcamp or Apple Software update from the apple site?

I've been reading all kinds of conflicting information and I'm not really sure I went about all of this the right way. Help! Thanks :)

If I were you I would still choose to run the windows software update. Although I'm pretty sure that your particular model doesn't support anything above Version 4.0 :(
