Comment: I have been a long time Cohen fan, but when I saw Pump Up the Volume again recently, I forgot how much I liked this song. A lot of people rag on his 80's stuff, but I always enjoyed this entire album.

I'm Your Man is an excellent album. Never cared much for the rest of Cohen's stuff, though...
And Concrete Blonde's cover (http://www.dailytunes.com/songs/20050702140351.html) from Pump Up The Volume is very good (in fact that whole soundtrack is good)... ;)

The only thing I didn't like about the soundtrack is all the awesome stuff they left out! I do like Concrete Blonde's version, but I think most people wanted the Cohen version too because it's practically the theme song to his show.
I like a lot of Cohen's stuff, actually. Like some things, I just have to be in the mood for it though.

Lenny's my man, loved his work for ever really....:D
Everybody likes Leonard Cohen, even if they don't like to admit it.;)
Tori Amos's version of famous Blue Raincoat and Pete Gabriel's version of Suzanne are also worth the effort.

Big fan of Leonard Cohen. I got into his music through Jeff Buckley's cover of Hallelujah, and wanted to discover more.
He may sound down and miserable, but there is a wicked sense of humour in a lot of his songs.

Definitely a classic.
This is the song that got me interested in his music.
