Not sure if anyone has any of these old beasts scampering around anymore, but I've gotten to the point where I'm having dreams about A/UX. Anyone got one?

Thanks for replying :-)
I don't believe that I could use the PPC upgrade with A/UX, and since I'm looking at getting it specifically for tinkering with A/UX, I probably wouldn't be able to justify properly compensating you for the PPC upgrade, especially with my low cash flow. Is that a cache-socket upgrade or PDS or ? Is the original processor still in the machine? *supposes he should do some research and find out what the Quadras are actually, you know, like*
The machine sounds good though, and I'm interested. I'm a bit nervous about making offers because I don't have any idea what a fair price is. I'm not worried about offering too much and getting screwed, you know -- I'm worried about offering too little and insulting you or making you think that I'm trying to screw you over.

I've been using A/UX 3.0.1 on a Quadra 700 for a number of years now. I bought mine on ebay for around $25 as I recall (I use my Quadra 950 too much to take it down from being PowerPC running 8.1 just for A/UX). The 700 has been a great platform for A/UX for me... specially as I mainly use it for running my older System 7 applications.
