I know it is simple but can someone help me to sety up my keychain account. I am confused. Can I use to to access web sites as well as mail etc? Will it work with all websites? Do I cut and past the login screen from various sites into the account window? I am having problems. thanks

Keychain stores passwords for the websites you visit and require a password for, your mail account (in Mail) and other various programs except for the administrator password when installing a program etc.

Keychain is automatically activated in OS X and stores your passwords. Some times it asks you if you want to allow keychain to access the password (Press 'Allow always'). To edit your keychain account open up 'Keychain Access' in your 'Utilities' folder in 'Applications'.

If you want more help lookup Keychain in the Help Centre.
