I need to sell my baby IMMEDIATELY as I need the cash. It's a 12" 1.33 GHz Powerbook, 768 MB RAM, 60 GB HD, Airport Express, Bluetooth, nonfunctioning disc drive, dents and scratches, and a missing period key (I may have the key, but it definitely doesn't attach... that said, I can still type periods of course). This computer served me well and continues to serve me well, but alas, as I need the cash, I must sell it immediately. I started another thread prematurely regarding the sale of this computer, thinking I'd wait on the responses, but now I'll be willing to immediately ship this computer out to the first person who breaks $500 for his/her bid. Based on responses to the previous thread, the computer is worth $500. However, if nobody bids above this amount, I'll go with the highest bidder after a few days. Please PM me, and thanks for looking.

I failed to mention that I still have the original box, albeit at a different location, and can ship it about a week or two after I send the computer.

Parting it out? You could probably get more than $500 for the parts.

I'd say its worth 700 or so.

Combo drives are cheap and easy to come by. Any slot-loader will really do.

Dents and scratches do take off some of the resell value, as does the missing key. Though the missing key is VERY easy to replace (Just buy one, hold it up, and push it down in one firm push)

Last call before I move the sale to eBay. I'd rather do it on here and sell it ASAP, but I'll go to eBay if nobody buys soon.

Wish I had some cash around to take this off your hands, but alas... hope that what ever your emergency is that is forcing you to sell this in a hurry gets resolved for you without further headache.

Rob
