Just wondering what I could get:
AMD Athlon 64 2800+
Gigabyte GA-K8NS
265mb nVidia 5500fx
512mb DDR 400
40gb Seagate
550w ps
8 usb 2.0 ports [6 back 2 front]
4 firewire ports [3 back 1 inside]
DVD
CD-RW
floppy

Clear case
4 lighted case fans, 2 lighted fans in ps

NO OS will be provided for legal issues

I've decided to give up on pc and go mac. Depending on what I get, I might sell my monitor too. Its a Sony 19" crt. And, I might sell my Microsoft BT keyboard/mouse set too.

XP Pro - will reformat and reinstall but not include cd
Also, could include Office XP, IF you want, [downloaded copy though]

That's a NO NO. Better take it out before the Mod's spot it.

If the compy is a Socket 754 with AGP, would you sell the processor and motherboard seprate or trade it?

It is, but I don't think I'd have any luck selling it without a processor. Sorry

If someone wants to trade for a G4, maybe 1.25 or higher, I would consider including the monitor. It is older, I think it was manuf. in 98. It's black and grey/silver.

FYI: You can get a PC nowadays for $300 (sans the graphics chip) so I think a 1.25 G4 is a bit lopsided. But I don't know too much about gfx cards, so pardon me if it is a stupid observation.

True, but one at that price isn't much of a pc. Little ram, slow processor, small hard drive, somethign like that. I paid $100 for the graphics card new, but now that model has come down in price. But Half Life 2 looks and runs beautiflly on it :D

I'll trade it for the powerbook in your sig...lol. I want at least a g4 1ghz, preferably an imac, or a mini. I could settle for a power mac though....just kinda tired of having the big box.

Thats asking for a lot. You'd be lucky to get a bottom of the line DA G4
