Safari and hotmail

I downloaded Safari as soon as I heard it was out. I installed it and set up all my bookmarks (not happy I had to do it by hand). Then, I checked my hotmail account. Everything was normal. The next day I checked my hotmail account again. ... Error! Some kind of JAVA error that causes my loggin to fail.... I wonder if this was intentional ..... MS has done it before.....

anyone else have this problem?

This has been discussed in other Safari threads, Hotmail does not seem to like Safari very much :(

Yeah. Hotmail seems to work one time and then fails the next time.

One thing that seems to do a bit of good sometimes is opening up prefs, unchecking the JavaScript checkbox and then re-check it. Then reload the page. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

The solution for the hotmail problem is pretty simple.

go to www.hotmail.com put in pass and user name, let it fail.

then immediatley re-enter the www.hotmail.com address and then put your pass in the second time(hot mail should remeber your user name, but not your pass)....voilaaa! your in.

yeah it didnt work at first for me, but it does now and I have not have any further issues with it.

and who says that ms isnty purposely making it unstable on safari. considering it is the only browser to succesfully overide MSN messengers default browser settings .... :eek:

Another alternative solution is if you have MSN messenger, ctrl click on it and click "My hotmail inbox" and it will take you straight there on safari. It will lead you to your hotmail inbox on safari without a problem :)

there is also a problem with the code for the block button.

works twice then you have to reload the inbox.
