How much is this worth? It is brand new, and unused. It comes with a 120gb 5400rpm hard drive. It was upgraded using 512mb memory from another powerbook 17 when my friend upgraded his laptop he gave me his ram :)

Well, the price to buy one directly from Apple is $2499 (to start, depending on what options you add).
You're (probably) not going to get that through a resale, simply because people will buy direct from Apple if the price is the same (although they will save on sales tax if they buy from you).
It really all depends on if the right person sees your item for sale... the lower the price, the more right people there will be.

The only upgrade is an extra 512mb memory stick for a total of 1gb ram. Is $1850 shipped fair?

I understand, but any lower it's really not worth it for me to upgrade (which is fine too).
