The Void macrumors regular Jan 11, 2006 #2 Finder. VCDs are just MPEGs. Find the largest .dat file on the VCD, drag it to your desktop and rename it .mpg. Voila. Or am I missing something? Can you get encrypted VCDs? The Void ............... The Trudy

jimthorn macrumors 6502a Jan 11, 2006 #3 No, you're correct Void. VCDs are just MPEG-1 video files on CD. SVCDs are MPEG-2 video files on CD. To my knowledge, neither is encrypted.
