Maybe not as sleek as the Clamcase's aluminum finish, but this one also can be flipped and used as a handheld device. In fact, the hinge is even better thought out as it tucks the keyboard away and exposed.

Backlit keys that show through the letters, not just around them is also a nice touch. And they throw in a built in stylus!
There's a iPad mini version as well although it doesn't come with backlit keys or a stylus.

The only drawback is the high $129 price tag. Probably still cheaper than the much delayed Clamcase's Pro.

You can get that one for much cheaper

These cases look exactly the same: (at least for the mini)
Coverbot $29.99
Just for full disclosure, I have purchased and used this one. Used and loved for 4 months till the hinge snapped :(

New Trent $35.95

Sharrk $43 (with backlit keyboard) (the op version doesn't have backlit keys for the mini)

Thanks, but unfortunately none of the ones you've posted seem to be available for the iPad Air (only iPad mini).
