Bit of a weird one, I hope someone can help with this.

I have had an occasional "graphics" lockup on my last system, in Logic 9
which results in the mouse "rubber banding" and getting stuck in that mode.
There is no way out, song wont play and all functions stop, however the
"force quit" doesn't show Logic program as "not responding" !!

New system, new Mac Logic X with the same Logitech MX1000 laser mouse, has
just started to have the same issue !!

well, that's all that is constant between the 2 x systems - the MX1000 mouse.

Any ideas ?
Should I just dump the mouse and go with something more up to date?
The last proper driver for it was for 10.6.8 so it's just running as a generic
mouse in OSX.

I have an Apple "MAgic mouse" but it really hurts my hand - too flat !!

Thanks for any advice,
Martin.

Have installed the latest LCC software from Logitech and I'm using the second
MX1000 that I bought - was still new in box since 2006 !!

So far so good, battery will probably be a little weak so if it doesn't hold up
then I will get something a bit newer!
MX1000 is a cracking good laser mouse though.

My guess was the other one had a fault and would show up worst when using
Logic.
