View Full Version : Can I run a program without it being on the dock?

I want to run PSI so I can have MSN on iChat but i don't want to keep it in the dock. Is this possible?

You can edit the Info.plist file to stop it appearing in the dock. This may also prevent the app getting a menu though. Do a search on CocoaDev.

If you mean to ask whether programs not stored in the dock will run, the answer is of course (but are you asking that?)
