I just upgraded to 10.4.4 late last night. I didn't notice early but now I can hear that the fan on my normally totally quiet iMac G4 is running constantly.

I just restarted the machine and the fan is still blowing.

Any ideas on how to get the fan to quiet down? Again, this is a flat panel iMac G4.

Is there anything in Activity Monitor that's using up a lot of CPU cycles or are you doing anything intensive that might cause the fans to stay on? Is the enclosure warm? Maybe reset the PRAM if you want to, it may help assuming there's no reason for the fans to be on.
