I was wondering since in-app purchases are tied to your Apple ID, if you then log out of the app store, then continue playing, when you delete the app/re-download the same app, how can you continue with where you left off? Based on consumables which are free anyway.
I use the game Simpsons tapped out as an example,
If you start the game, and buy boatload of donuts , sign out out the app store, then continue paying, building etc... When you delete the app, and re-download, you are current, even the extra stuff do did when you were *signed out* out the store..
So i guess my question, if in-app purchases rely on Apple ID. How can it stay current even when your NOT logged in. I know the app itself could hold the extra stuff, but i'm wondering how this process works.
Any in-sight info?
