eyetv 2, all u need?

I have a ibook g4 and i was wondering is eyetv 2 software all I need to connect my computer to my dish network satellite box? is there a cable to go from the box to my ibook or do i need the ez eyetv hardware?

with a satellite can I use eyetv 2, or do i have to use the eyetv 310 (the one for satellities)
 
You will need the eyeTV hardware, not just the software. I don't know whether or not the eyeTV 2 will work or if you need the 310. Maybe someone else can answer that.
