I am in the process of reconfiguring my AirPort Extreme /cable modem setup and want to see some of your setups. Currently I have mine tucked away on a side table next to my desk along with my UPS on the bottom. Not bad, but would love to relocate it to the basement or something.

Somewhat of a repost from the "post your mac setup" but whatever. I'm just running a Motorola Surfboard modem. I bought it instead of renting from the cable company, so it is slowly paying for itself. I wanted to upgrade my cheap Netgear N300 router to a refurb 5G airport extreme, but with a mere 10 Mb/s internet connection there wouldn't be any benefit. Everything is wired with 1 foot Cat6 ethernet in the back which is nice. I like having everything in one place, but i could probably hide the router somewhere if felt like it.
