My brother has been given a MAC 7.5 which he wishes to use for internet access and email. He has also been given a Robotics Sportster Voice external 33.6 modem which has previously been used with a PC. Can anyone tell us whether it is sensible to use this modem and, if so, how to connect it to the MAC. If a different modem is required which one should he buy and where? There is no software with the modem.
As a PC user I'm unable to advise him but keen to help him join the 'super highway'! Any help would be much appreciated

You don't need to post twice in two different areas and to top it off in an irrellivent category.

The simple way of dealing with it in the future is to edit your post deleting the entire message and replacing it with something asking a mod to erase the thread. Also you can PM a mod and have them delete it.
Hey no hard feelings we can all make mistakes.
Welcome to MacRumors. Hope I didn't scare you.
