IPad mini video stuttering

In the last week my mini will no longer play videos properly in anything except the YouTube app. Any embedded video or when using the Videotube app I get 1 FPS video. Even the videos on Apples site won't play properly.

I have 33mb fibre optic broadband. No problems with other idevices.

Did you do a network settings reset and then re-find your modem? It's worth a shot if you haven't. What apps other than you youtube are you trying to play videos in? Netflix? Hulu?
