View Full Version : usb hard drive gone

First time mac owner. Got an iBook about 3 days ago. Yesterday, I hooked up a Seagate USB hard drive to my iBook that I'd been using successfully on my windows machine. After I was done using it, I inadverntantly unplugged the usb cable from the iBook, without properly closing the drive. Now, my iBook, nor my xp machine "see" the Seagate. I don't have much experience with this kind of thing.
Help? Where did it go??

Did you try restarting your computer?

Kind of. Last night, I had shut down both machines. Tonight, I fired both up, and now is when I'm having the problem.
