Description:: There's a simple explantion why Apple's new cleanroom ad looks just like a music video for The Postal Service: they were both made by the same people.

It's almost like the EXACT same thing! Like some of the scenes look like they've been taken from the PS video and put into the Apple ad.

It's weird that they WOULD do the same thing twice. I imagine the musical group (or label) has to sign off or get paid or something.

Maybe somebody at Apple (Mr. J., we will call him) saw that video someplace and thought, "THAT is exactly what I want!" So he made some calls, and lo and behold, he could have it :)

I suppose sheer coincidence can never be ruled out, but it is somewhat surprising that this keeps happening. Why the lack of originality in this department when everything else seems so unique? Not that I'm terribly concerned about this issue, mind you.
