The Wall Street Journal has a front page article this morning saying that Disney is in serious talks to buy Pixar. It says that Steve Jobs would become the largest Disney shareholder, and that he would take a seat on the Disney Board.

My #1 concern, which is not mentioned in the linked article or in the WSJ article (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB113764205313450605.html?mod=home_whats_news_us) (subscription reqd.) is that it could put Apple in the same shoes as Sony-- a content owner with too much interest in DRM. (I know, I know, Apple would still be seperate from Disney, but with Steve running both I think the problem would still be there. Don't forget, Disney owns ABC, ESPN, etc.)
