I've been following this for awhile now because, though at first the name didn't register, I realized over the past couple of days that she was in my highschool class.

Sat right behind her and her sister (they're fraternal twins if I remember right) in a couple of classes. Kind of weird to see someone you actually knew in the news... even weirder and more surreal when they're in the news for something you would never wish to happen to someone you actually knew.

I live in a giant bucket!
I really feel for the family and can only hope that she arrives back home safe and sound. Can someone explain why on earth they would kidnap a journalist? Do they actually think that it makes them look good and get greater sympathy?

I pretty much already know the answear to that question (as lame as it may be) but I just had to say it out of frustration. Horrible what is going on over there. :(
