Its ludicrous we don't have any stores in Western Canada. Could we expect a Vancouver store in 2006? Stevie did mention they were slated to open 40+ stores this year. Here's to the Crazy Ones http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35452 (http://www.uriah.com/apple-qt/movies/think-different.mov)

I'd love to see an Apple store in downtown Winnipeg, there's not much choice in Winnipeg (or Manitoba) for Mac stores, only about 2 stores that know anything about macs, and of course the Best Buys

one of those 40 better be in scotland...

if stirling, the city i live in, can support a Bang & Olufsen shop (about 200m from my house :D), it can sure support a Mac store - you should see the amount of people that are converting at the university here.

Excellent. Won't have to go up to York Dale - which the Apple Store is always extremely busy and YD is a trek.

But, Apple should open Apple stores in other parts of Canada. Toronto is not Canada.

However, this won't be welcomed by Compusmart or other stores that carry Apple stuff.

Come on! Two in Toronto and Montreal has yet to get one?!?!?!??! Getting people to convert to Mac in Montreal is tough since their are few stores that offered mac related products, those that did where pretty lame or unfocused.
MicroBoutique is the only place but tough to access(carrying/protecting a brand new mac while crossing 6 lanes of street is pretty interesting).

Over 3 million in the area of Montreal and we have but one decent store to go to?!?!?!

Come on Apple! "Vivre Quebec!!!" (sp?)

I live in montreal, and I would love to see an apple store open.
I live like a 15 minute walk from microboutique, Personally, I dont like doing bussnues with them, I'm 14, and there they type who ignore people mmmmy age when they come in, but because its so close, I have no choise.
Other place's in montreal B-Mac (but they are closeing), and Microserve, but thats near the airport.
and I was walking on st.Cathrin 3 days ago, (where the future shop it) newar the bay, and right beside the future sp is a mac store, I didint catch the name, but i went it, it has some nice stuff, but kind of empty.

anyway, I really do want apple to open a store here!
