Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7, I have found an odd behavior to my power / sleep button in my iPad 4.

I am unsure if this is a software glitch or a hardware problem.

The problem is that, only INTERMITTENTLY and RANDOMLY, when I press the power / sleep button lightly just once, the screen would come on but then immediately shut off (like in a flash).

The button otherwise behaves completely normally with other uses. The only time it never fails is the initial press when the device is in sleep. Importantly, it does not NEVER fail to register a press. Thus, it is NOT a typical behavior for an unresponsive or failing button / switch problem that I see reported elsewhere.

Has someone seen this?
