I'm having a problem running Disk Warrior 3.03 on my PBs/iBook all running 10.4.4. Since I had the old version of Disk Warrior (3.0), I downloaded the update from the maker's web site and burned it on CD R according to the instructions.

Since you cannot run Disk Warrior on the start up disk, I tried to run Disk Warrior 3.03 from CD (re-start, pressing C to start up from CD) and I get the kernel panic screen (it says I have to press the power button a few seconds to re-boot the Mac).

Do other people on this forum have the similar problem like mine?

I never use Disk Warrior or any other such utility software. Never have and never will. I think these companies prey on the misinformed with their marketing strategies of "why you need to use our software".

Throw it in the garbage it's not worth the disk space.
