iPod How to organize contact directories within iPod?

I'm using my iSync to sync my 5G iPod with my address book in OSX 10.3.9. I have groups set up (such as one for business and one for friends) in my address book, but they aren't shown in my iPod where I instead have just one master list of contacts. How do I get my iPod to organize my groups like I have on my computer?
 
I haven't used Panther with iTunes 6.0 but could you go to the iPod preferences (in iTunes) and sync from there rather than iSync? 🙂
