I swear I've seen them around in the past, but I can't seem to find any...

Are there any battery cases for the 5/5S that charge via lightning port? And I assume would have some switch to pass through the connection for use with other accessories?

Example, connecting to my car stereo without taking the phone out of the case.

Thanks for any help. :)

I also haven't purchased a battery case or external battery because they're all micro USB. I HATE that connector type. Only a committee could come up with an asymmetric non-tapered microscopic plug. Even in the 1940s power plugs for portables were much easier to use and far more durable.
