Hi all, looking to get a G4 powerbook, 400mhz - 667mhz, depending on price. I can trade any of these items towards it, or if you have one for sale (I don't have alot of cash though!) let me know.

1. G3 AIO, the pre Imac. I had this up once before with no takers. I would like 75$ for it, it has a 333mhz G3, Screen and body in great condition, currently running 10.4.4. CD-Rom Drive, 6gb harddrive, the Wings AV card (Doesn't work under OS X, but if your planning on using OS 9 it will) ADB Mouse and Keyboard in great condition. This bad boy has 3 pci slots, a zif processor, and 512mb of ram. I use it every day to check mail, and surf the web, I just want a laptop.

2. 233mhz G3 Wallstreet, was told it works, have never turned it on. It has NO Battery, NO CD-Rom drive, and no power adapter. Every thing appears to be there, ram / hd / processor. Looks like it has 96mb ram. Again, I dont know if it works, so as IS! Would be good for parts. Screen looks good, exterior case has some issues. 50$ obo

3. CF card GPS unit, used in my pocket pc. Works great, not sure about in a mac, never tried it, will work in PC laptops no problem. 50$

4. Several G3 AIO's for parts, all dissassembled, extra motherboards, 233mhz processors, cables, trays, monitors, etc. Ask if you need something, I probably have it.

5. PC parts, cases, motherboards, etc, I might have it if you ask.

Basically I want a 400mhz or so powerbook g4 titanium, nothing necessarily fast, just something more portable than the AIO. I would consider a white ibook, but really want the powerbook g4. I have seen them for 3-400 on ebay, but have seen a few cheaper with problems - Thats fine by me, I am good with these things, and if you have one that needs repair, perhaps we can work out a deal! I don't mind a fixer upper.

LOL

Bill

Have any Socket A or Socket 478 working mainboards? Preferably SDRAM based boards.

Also, have any video cards? What types and how much RAM on them too? I'd love a list of models, bus type, and RAM if you could. :D

I have a very nice Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard, it was a newegg refurb I picked up for an HTPC I was going to build. This is the board with onboard soundstorm, encodes dolby digital 5.1 from ALL sounds / sources, and has digital out on the board. This is a big thing when building your own surround sound htpc, may mean nothing to you. LOL, Outside of that, it is a good quality performance Socket A board. This board takes SDRAM. You can find the specs online if your interested.

I have no worthwhile video cards, I only buy these as needed.

I also have a desktop case for the above motherboard w/ powersupply, I was going to use as my htpc case if your interested.

How does 45$ for the motherboard sound? Let me know.

Bill is an excellent seller and was a pleasure to deal with when I bought his mini.

Will have to pass as the board uses DDR SDRAM, instead of PC100/133 SDRAM. :/

Just interested in getting these boards for cheap so I can replace some aging PIII machines. I have a 1.7 GHz Pentium 4 and a 1.5 GHz Athlon XP wanting homes, and my sister and brother are using Pentium III 1 GHz and 933s, and they're starting to show their age.

May be interested in the case, have a pic of it?
