Can someone steer me in the right direction for a good firewire Webcam? A friend of mine is looking to pick one up, and I'm completely clueless about such things.
Thanks

If he already has a DV Camcorder, he can use that.

I use my miniDV camcorder as my FireWire webcam - it works brilliantly. If you don't want the inconvenient power-off after 5 minutes, then take the tape out of the camera. It'll stay on then.
Otherwise, you could go for one of those "FireBot" web cameras, or the FireWire version of the iRez Kritter. They're all pretty much the same - the price should be fairly similar, too.

thanks guys.
He doesn't have a DV camera, and isn't looking to spend quite that much (somewhere around $100). If anyone has any experience on the devoted Webcams out there, that'll be helpful.
I've heard good things about Orange Micro's iBot. Any thoughts?
