iLife - unable to install on ibook G4

I have an iBook G4, 1.33 GHz, 512 MB of RAM and a 60GB Hard Drive with Tiger OS 10.4.4. When I attempt to install iLife 06 it goes through the motions and it appears as though it is installing. After about 30 minutes it says there were errors installing the software, please try again. Has anyone else run into this problem and if so how did you fix it?

Prolly woudn't hurt to repair permissions before trying the install again.

I have a similar iBook and it installed fine.
