I was browsing around today and noticed I had access to my iDisk via a web browser. I can browse, upload, and download files to/from it. I tried this on a PC too and it worked.. all from a web browser. Is this new? Kinda neat..

anyone? This is REALLY nice since I don't have to mount iDisk on any computer to access my files!

How do you do this in the first place? I didn't know that. How cool.

I go to www.mac.com and click on iDisk. It'll prompt for my username/password, then voila!

I hadn't noticed this before, but it is very useful. I sometimes use the iDisk when I need to access files from home on my PC at work. The old iDisk utility was glacially slow and made this very painful. How does the speed of the new browser access compare to the old iDisk utility?

Speeds seems good to me.. but I've only uploaded and downloaded small images and text files.

How frickin' cool is that. I noticed the new page, but I didn't see the link to iDisk.

Sweet

I think it appeared during the .Mac upgrade when it went offline during the MWSF keynote

Darned handy though - means I can now use it at the office since I couldn't install anything on my work PC previously.
