Just a tip. If you're in the market for a VRM, you're probably going to end up shelling out around $50 for a used one. Instead, I recommend getting a new Gigadesigns VRM: http://www.gigadesigns.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=13

They can handle pretty much any upgrade you throw at them, and are much more resilient than the original Apple one.
