View Full Version : Poisoning a judge (the latest Ann Coulter outrage)

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, speaking at a traditionally black college, joked that Justice John Paul Stevens should be poisoned.

Coulter had told the Philander Smith College audience Thursday that more conservative justices were needed on the Supreme Court to change the current law on abortion. Stevens is one of the court's most liberal members.

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee," Coulter said. "That's just a joke, for you in the media."

Coulter has made a career of writing and lecturing on her strongly conservative views.

At one point during her address, which was part of a lecture series, some audience members booed when she cut off two questioners. "I'm not going to be lectured to," Coulter told one man in a raised voice.

She drew more boos when she said the crack cocaine problem "has pretty much gone away."
Yeah, except for her own.

hehe you should go check out the NOFX song "Your Wrong" it's got a reference to Ann Coulter in it.

I'd print it here but it's pretty profane

Threatening the life of a Supreme Court justice is a crime. Joke or no, I hope the Justice Dept. or Secret Service investigate Ms. Coulter. Perhaps they can give her a taste of that McCarthy style interrogation she's so fond of.

I was just thinking that. Ironic that she might be investigated considering how much she supports a police state. That is, if she's investigated. Perhaps we should alert the Justice Department, you know, as good Americans and all.

Oh, and Ann Coulter should be poisened. That was only a joke, of course.

If Justice Stevens asked the FBI to investigate, they'd almost be obligated to follow through -- or that is how I understand it. Of course this would just be more red meat of the kind Coulter eats for breakfast. You just can't win with her -- she will always be screwier and less principled than the next person.

I'd like to see her try since she is so behind the spying thing. Although, being a hypocrite, I'm sure she'd find some way to figure that part out. Insert prison "fresh meat" pun here BTW.
