Hello,

I was just searching for that MacRumors Forums thread about user titles, since the FAQ has never been updated to even include the already discovered ones after the "readjustment", and came upon several spam or click bait blogs, that included some of my posts and many posts from other members.
I remember to have seen soma fora even having entire MRF threads stored on their sites, though those were not big fora like AI or ThinkSecret/AppleNova.

Does anyone know, what the reason for this is? Getting clicks for falsely leading people searching for help to their sites instead to us?

I can post links, but then I might finally get banned for posting spam.
Here is a search result if that is okay.

That's exactly why. Just some shady people hijacking other websites content to try and get ad clicks.

Very annoying that it clutters up search results.
