Wow. I can't believe some of these got past app reviews inside Microsoft. Sure Apple has a lot to do to make the App Store a better experience and I don't doubt there are some garbage apps there too, but some of these Windows apps are down right scams. I remember reading about Microsoft taking companies web apps and repackaging them as native apps on the Windows Phone store to trick people into thinking they were legit apps. Not sure if they're still doing it but it seems like Microsoft is really focused getting numbers up more than anything. I wish all companies would focus on quality over quantity.
