Nikon LS 2000 film scanner

I just got one of these as a job to hook up. Does anyone know if there is a way to hook them up to a Powerbook G4? What program would I use to scan the film. I can use both OS 9 and X so the OS problem issue isn't a problem.

According to this page the last "official" software (Nikon Scan) is v3.1.2 for the Mac back in 2003 for the 2000. You may need to buy Nikon Capture 4.x at $99 to get all the updates and compatibility to OSX.
