I just got one of these as a job to hook up. Does anyone know if there is a way to hook them up to a Powerbook G4? What program would I use to scan the film. I can use both OS 9 and X so the OS problem issue isn't a problem.

Here:

According to this page the last "official" software (Nikon Scan) is v3.1.2 for the Mac back in 2003 for the 2000. Though in this page (http://support.nikontech.com/cgi-bin/nikonusa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=61&p_created=1029180813&p_sid=B9W-XX-h&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPSZwX3NvcnRfYnk9JnBfZ3JpZHNvcnQ9JnBfcm93X2NudD04JnBfcHJvZHM9MjUsMjgmcF9jYXRzPTE4NSZwX3B 2PTIuMjgmcF9jdj0xLjE4NSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXBlPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0x&p_li=&p_topview=1) that version number is now v4.4.0. You may need to buy Nikon Capture 4.x at $99 to get all the updates and compatibility to OSX.
