Just wondering if anyone saw this article (http://www.powerpage.org/story.lasso?newsID=10441) over at "PowerPage.org"?

PowerBook and storage product vendor MCE has announced slot-loading internal SuperDrives "for all PowerBook G4s" arriving February 25 at US$449, and even expansion bay slot drives (without DVD-R/W capability, presumably) for 1999-year PowerBook G3 expansion slots, plus US$399 Lucid portable FireWire DVD-R/W drives. We'll bring you more details once we receive them.

Has anyone dealt with MCE before. If this is true It'd be exactly what I am looking for. Provided it works with iDVD of course.

I believe that is the same company that also sells the Combo Drive upgrade for the original TiBook 400 and 500. It is highly probable that it would work with iDVD, similar to the SuperDrive updates that were temporarily advertised for the eMacs, bu Apple forced them to take them off the market so they could include SuperDrives from the factory and make even more money.
