I will be purchasing a GL2 in the next few days for my upcoming student projects. I noticed that, when you put it in 16:9 mode, it makes an anamorphic image.
I was wondering if, when I import it to iMovie or FCP, it would automatically stretch back to 16:9, or if I would have to letterbox it.
Would it be better to shoot in "16:9" in the camera? Or add the 16:9 guidelines and add the black bars in post?
As a side note, I have FCP 3 on my computer and FCP 5 my friends studio, in case there was a huge difference between the two in how they treat the GL2.
