Hey,
I noticed the Extreme Base station has a USB port, and all Apple documentation is telling me it's for printers. Can you hook up a 4 port usb and run everything wirelessly? Or is it using a plugin or something to print wirelessly? I'm trying to eliminate the desk in my room completley, and if I can put it all on a small shelf, that would be awesome.

Not really, it's not a regular USB port. It can only print.

I haven't tried it but I guess you could theoretically try to hook up a bus filled with printers to it, although I doubt it'd work in practice. 😱

AirPort Extreme Base Station
You can connect one USB printer at a time for base station printing. Do not connect multiple printers through a hub.
AirPort Extreme Base Station (PoE/UL 2043)
When you have base station firmware 5.5 or later, you can connect up to four USB printers to the base station via a USB hub.

AirPort Express
You can connect one USB printer at a time for base station printing. Do not connect multiple printers through a hub. Additionally, with AirPort Express firmware 6.1 or later, you may use the Keyspan Express Remote. If you want to use the remote and a printer at the same time, it's OK to use a USB hub to make that possible -- just don't use more than one printer at a time.

A note on Internet connections
To connect to a broadband modem, such as cable and DSL, use Ethernet. If your broadband Internet service provider uses USB modems, contact them for an alternative solution.
