Updating my website...and bloggin' it up!

Well, it's time for me to update my website and I've decided to try my hand at creating my own blog as well.

For now I'm just checking out the layout/design. So I come to you here on MR to take a look at what I've got so far and tell me what you think, tell me if it works on your system/browser, tell me your suggestions...just tell me anything. :D

The color scheme is likely to change somewhat, but I'm mostly interested that people find the text legible and the rollovers/tabs look and function correctly.

I'm using IE 5.1. Color was grey & yellow. When selecting any link I got, foo.

Would like to see a greater use of a color scheme. Keep us informed as you update, thanks! ;)

I think t looks prety cool. The whole asthetic to blogs, for me at least, is simplicity. check ot zulkey.com (www.zulkey.com) to see what I mean.

I assume that the section links aren't ready yet, hence the foo mesage. Are you going to keep the main blog in section four?

Yeah, I haven't settled on a final color scheme yet. I was just going for high contrast right now.

Yeah, I'm definitely going for a simple layout. Sections will move around. I just chose section 4 randomly as something other than the first/last tab. It'll probably end up in the second tab. The "foo" links are just placeholders.

No time frame to speak of...I'm just fiddling. :)

Spring semester starts up next week, which will seriously eat up my free time, anyway. The more I can get done over the next few weeks the better.

I like the flower, a nice touch. Would like to see a darker blue to use a contrast!
