Final Cut Pro HELP!

hi, i just upgraded to final cut pro from final cut express, and when i go to play back video in real time the audio is just signal beeps. do any of you know how to play back the actuall audio?

Render the audio streams.

You NEVER encountered this in FCE??

I have this all the time on a dual 2.0 G5, very frustrating, but option+R will fix it ...
