So I was watching The Office today (I TiVo'd it from yesterday ) and I was giggling like a school girl* when Michael Scott (played by Steve Carrell) said that he "edited the video on his Mac" (emphasis). I figured it was product placement because a giant screen comes up twice during the show saying "The Office available on iTunes" as well.
If you watch the Office, there's also the Christmas episode, where Steve bought an iPod and everyone wanted it.
Have you guys seen any Apple product placement on shows that recently got put on iTunes? It seems like companies are really scrambling to get on iTunes if they're offering to do product placement.
*Not really.
P.S. I don't know if it's positive product placement if an idiot like Michael Scott uses a Mac, but, you know, any publicity's good publicity.
