Here in South Jersey we got around one foot of snow over the weekend! :D Any other eastern U.S. people have pics of the insane amount of snow we received? I would love to see them! Anyway, here are five of my favorites that I took today:

http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/8793/snow011uq.th.jpg (http://img368.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snow011uq.jpg) http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/4496/snow029od.th.jpg (http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snow029od.jpg) http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/4654/snow031sr.th.jpg (http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snow031sr.jpg) http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/6784/snow045un.th.jpg (http://img98.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snow045un.jpg) http://img399.imageshack.us/img399/5376/snow056fw.th.jpg (http://img399.imageshack.us/my.php?image=snow056fw.jpg)

I realize there is another thread, but I really wanted to have my own. :p And plus, the other one consists of a video.

Thanks for looking!

They're awesome pics. I love the look of snow covering everything, probably because it's something we don't experience down here a whole lot.

There is already a thread about this snow storm. There are only a few picks there, but you may find them interesting.

those are great pics p0intblank. Hmm...I noticed that the cars in the pics were all parked on the driveway, and not in the garage. Any reasons?

It started snowing late Saturday night here in Connecticut and ended around 5 p.m. Got over a foot of snow...very pretty! Sorry, no pics...

Had to shovel the snow...not too much fun. Here is a pic of me and Eevee

Actually the only car in those pictures that is actually ours is the red one covered in snow. The SUV in the one picture is our neighbor's car. My dad is always nice enough to snow blow their driveway for them whenever we get a big storm like this one. As for our cars... the red one is mine. I never get to park in the garage. :p My mom and dad usually park their cars in their. They're just not pictured here.

And, toothpaste, thanks. :) I love where we live. It's mostly quiet.

I was just mentioning to a friend in central Jersey that I'm re-thinking my idea about moving to that area, for some reason.

It reminds me of January 1996, when we had 24 inches of snow on a Sunday and 6 more inches on Friday. Scary stuff.

Hope things get cleared out quickly so everyone can be safe again.

Well, they're in the southern hemisphere so technically their toilets are flushing up towards us.  :p :p

Is Australia near France now? :D

The temperature dropped to about 2-3 degrees C last night and Saturday, it had that feeling of an impending winter storm, though it just ended up with very chilly rain because the temperature was still around 10 degrees C.

I'm just glad that I didn't have to deal with any snow. I still have shivers from those 3 days I was stuck due to 24 inches of snow.

We got that much snow back in late November/early December. Now it is snowing again and will be the rest of the week. I live on the west coast by the way. Snow sucks.

You and your "We can have different number plates on the front of the car." We have to have plates front and back and they have to be the same. That's bloody brilliant though...

It's not snow if you can see the grass. It's a heavy frost - LOL!

I love photos of a fresh snow, especially when it is a wet snow that covers the branches of trees. Very nice with a bright blue sky.

We haven't had much this winter, but here are a couple from last year.
