Okay, i currently have a 667 Powerbook G4 (1 gig of ram) and 48 gig harddrive.

I am almost out of room on my harddrive and am looking to purchase more room. what way is the best to go? firewire hd, just plain harddrive with enclosure? etc.

I also whould like the ability to move it to a windows XP computer when neccessary as i might be getting a new sony vaio [its hard to work in an all XP environment and serving out tech advice and problem solving when i only own a mac]

I am looking for about 120 - 200 gigs

thanks for all your help

LaCie has a 200GB firewire hard drive for $500 or so, and a 120GB for $270...that is probably easiest and they look cool too.

i recommend a lacie, too. i have an one year "old" (blue design) extermal 60gb. and it's okay, fast, good for video, etc.
and the new d2-design from lacie is really nice! go get one, but forget the vaio :)
